Acetamidine hydrochloride

Acetamidine hydrochloride is a white or yellowish long prismatic crystal, easy to deliquescence with peculiar smell.Soluble in water, soluble in ethanol, insoluble in acetone and ether.The compound is mainly prepared by addition and ammoniation of acetonitrile, hydrochloric acid and methanol, and is mainly used as a synthetic intermediate for the synthesis of rodenticides, fungicides and vitamin B1.This product is irritating to eyes and skin.

Main application

It is an intermediate of the organophosphorus rodenticides tetramine and bromine, and can also be used to synthesize imidazoles, pyrimidines, triazine antibiotics and vitamin B1 and can also be used as the basic raw material for organic synthesis.
